Biographical details

Ching-Yuan Su obtained his Ph.D. in Engineering and System Science from National Tsing Hua University in 2010. After that, he joined Research Center for Applied Sciences, Academia Sinica, as a postdoctoral research fellow before taking a faculty position at the Department of Electronic Engineering, Chang Gung University in 2012. In 2013, he transferred to Graduate Institute of Energy Engineering, National Central University, as an assistant professor. In 2019, he was promoted as a full professor. His research interest focuses on advanced functional nanomaterials, including the fundamental study on Carbon nanotube and Graphene, industry-scale production and the applications.

His recent works are industry-scale production of graphene and Graphene-based applications in nano-electronics, energy conservation, and energy storage, novel hybrid catalyst for energy application, etc. His bibliography includes over 60 publications in refereed journals in Nano Letters, Small, ACS NANO, etc. 10 invited lectures at international conferences, section chairman at numerous symposia at national and international meetings.
