Biographical details

Chee-How Tan is the Vice President of Infineon and the Managing Director of Infineon
Taiwan, responsible for the company’s strategic planning, business development, and
operation management in Taiwan. He also oversees the technical marketing business
for the Power and Sensor Systems Division in the Greater China region.

Chee-How has over 30 years of experience of semiconductor research and
development, manufacturing process and applications. He joined Infineon in 1999 and
was responsible for technical research and development as well as project
management for semiconductor IC design, testing, simulation and wafer process. He
has been the Technical Director of Power and Sensor Systems (PSS) Division at the
Greater China region since 2015, mainly responsible for application development,
product promotion and customer technical support. In October 2020, he was promoted
to Vice President of Infineon Greater China for PSS and was assigned to be the
Managing Director of Infineon Taiwan in Oct 2023. Prior to joining Infineon, he worked
in Siemens Automotive Semiconductor Division, responsible for technology research
and development and project management. In his enriching career, he has lived in
various places such as Munich, Singapore, Taiwan, Xi’an, Shenzhen, and has gained
valuable experience in leading teams across regions and diverse cultures.

Chee-How holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan
University and a Master’s degree in Solid State Physics from Arizona State University
in the United States. Since January 2021, he has been serving as a visiting professor
at the Guangzhou Research Institute of Xi’an University of Electronic Science and
Technology in China.
