Biographical details

Mohamed Boutchich is an associate professor at Sorbonne University (Paris-France) in electrical engineering and deputy head of Polytech Sorbonne (Engineering Department). His research is carried out at CNRS affiliated lab Group of Electrical Engineering – Paris (GEEPS) and French-Singaporean Alliance CINTRA (Nanyang Technological University – Singapore). He has been involved in the characterization of materials for nanoelectronics and photovoltaic research in tandem solar cells using perovskite, particularly the modulation of the electronic properties on heterostructures and their observation using photoemission techniques. At CINTRA he developed characterization for low dimensional thermoelectric material s with Professor Tay Beng Kang. He has collaborated with various Asian countries on these topics e.g. Japan, Singapore, Thailand and Taiwan. He was previously a senior scientist at NXP/TSMC research center in IMEC (Belgium) working on nonvolatile memories. He published several articles related to devices and characterization and holds international patents.
