Transportation Recommended

IEEE INEC2025 will be held at the Fullon Hotel Tamsui Fisherman’s Wharf in Tamsui, Taiwan.

Recommended for guests carrying luggage or traveling in groups.

  • Service:
    • Taxi stands are available at both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
  • Take the Taoyuan Airport MRT (Purple Line) to Taipei Main Station.
    • Duration: 35–40 minutes
    • Fare: 160 TWD approx
    • Departure: Every 15 minutes (Express train)
    • Station: MRT station is located at both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
  • Transfer to a Taxi at Taipei Main Station to Fullon Hotel Tamsui Fisherman’s Wharf.
    • Duration: ~40-50 minutes
    • Cost: ~800–1,000 TWD approx (depending on traffic)
    • Taxi stands are available at the East Exit of Taipei Main Station.

This option is ideal if guests are familiar with Taiwan’s MRT system and don’t mind a bit of travel time.

  1. Take the Taoyuan Airport MRT (Purple Line) to Taipei Main Station.
    • Duration: ~35-40 minutes
    • Fare: 160 TWD
  2. Switch to the Red Line (Tamsui-Xinyi Line).
    • At Taipei Main Station, transfer to the Red Line (R Line) towards Tamsui Station.
    • Duration: ~40 minutes
    • Fare: 50 TWD
  3. From Tamsui MRT Station, take a taxi to Fullon Hotel Tamsui Fisherman’s Wharf.
    • Duration: ~15 minutes
    • Cost: ~150–200 TWD

If you are driving to Tamsui, there are a number of parking garages available near the hotel. The hotel also offers valet parking.

Take Provincial Highway 2b from Taipei through Shilin, Shipai and Beitou, turn to Dadu Road and pass Guandu, and then go through Zhuwei, Honshulin and Tamsui city to head toward the Fisherman’s Wharf. 

You can also take Freeway No.1 (Sun Yat-sen Freeway) and exit from Wugu. Then connect to County Highway 107, County Highway 103 and Provincial Highway 15 (Xibin Highway) to Bali, pass the Guandu Bridge then go through Zhuwei, Honshulin and Tamsui city to head toward the Fisherman’s Wharf. 

The Fullon Hotel Tamsui Fisherman’s Wharf offers a shuttle service to and from Tamsui MRT Station. The shuttle runs every 30 minutes from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
